God-Breathed The Undeniable Power and Reliability of Scripture by Josh McDowell

Barbour Publishing, Inc.

Shiloh Run PressChristian, Religion & Spirituality

Pub Date Apr 15, 2015

Josh McDowell talks about how at nineteen he left college and went to Europe to disprove Christianity when he came across a rare handwritten portion of John from the third century.

McDowell goes on to talk about the power of words if you use them properly.  In the same way careless words can destroy a person.

In the following Chapters he delves into the Scripture.  McDowell points out that every Chapter of the Bible carries it’s own message.

This book would be great either for individual study or for group study.

I was given a copy of Seeking Mother through the Publisher and there partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:

The third book in this series once again takes us back to the lives of the street kids of India.

We get a peek into Jasmina’s life, Jasmina has found Grandmother.  Grandmother was an American missionary still residing in India trying to help better the lives of India’s street kids.

The reality of this life in India is very well portrayed in this book.  Trafficking and Slavery are a sad reality for the poorest of the poor.  And parents often feel they have no choice or are tricked into giving there children to traffickers and or slave traders and this book portrays that very realistically.

I would recommend this book to those at least fourteen years of age and believe parents should read it as well and discuss the topics addressed in this book.
