I was given an rc copy of Rising Darkness by Nancy Mehl, through Bethany House Publishers partnership with Netgalley for an honest review so here it goes…

Emily left Her Mennonite Roots and the community of Kingdom years before, when she went to go work as a newspaperwoman in the city, but something she discovers in her newspaper research leads her to Sanctuary, another Mennonite community one in which her fmily had lived.

When threatening notes start to arrive Emily finds herself fearful but does not back down from searching for the information she needs. Her fears become well founded when she is attacked and knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant.

Will Emily’s Search be the end of her, or will she escape the man after her. One who does not want her to find the truth.

I give this book five out of five stars.

Happy Reading…
