Book Review: The Slave Dancer

The Slave Dancer

by Paula Fox, Christopher P Curtis

Open Road Integrated Media
Children’s Fiction

Pub Date 28 Jun 2016

I was given a copy of the Slave Dancer through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:

He went out to get Candles for his Mother, while she worked on fancy dresses for the People of New Orleans.  Soon he finds himself on what he quickly realizes is a Slaver ship and he sees first hand what the slaves are forced to endure.

The realities of Slavery and just what the Slaves have to endure on the Slaver ships become evident to one young boy when he finds himself working on a Slaver ship.

I give this book five out of five stars

Happy reading
