Pub Date 01 Sep 2016

I was given a copy of My Sister’s prayer through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:

Nineteen years ago Madee, her sister and cousins had come across a crime scene that nineteen years later is still unsolved.

Madee’s sister is in the throws of a meth addiction although she has been clean for forty three days now after nearly killing herself in an accident, Madee knows that Nicole will be fighting this addiction for a lifetime.

Soon Nicole is moving in with her sister because with two broken legs she requires constant care.

1704

Celeste and her sister are headed for the New World for most of the trip Berta is sick out of her head with fever and soon Celeste discovers her sisters name was forged and she fears they might be sent to separate families as indentured servants.

My Sister’s Prayer tells of two sets of sisters, centuries apart, forging lives for themselves, and learning to forgive.  It’s about making mistakes and growing from them.

I give this book five out of five stars

Happy Reading…
