I am voluntarily reviewing an arc copy of Once Confronted through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley:

She could have been in Europe but instead she was in Sydney.  Maddy’s home is Brisbane only an hour away from Sydney by plane.

Evan is twenty five seven years Maddy’s senior and Maddy likes him but isn’t sure that he feels the same way.

One day Maddy finds herself staring at the gun aimed at her face.   A gun pressed to her cheek while strange men threaten to shoot her if Evan does not hand them what they are asking for when he isn’t fast enough for them they pistol whip him.

Will Evan be okay?  Will Maddy be okay?

As things progress will Maddy discover things are not always as they seem, and sometimes people hide behind masks?

Find out in Once Confronted.

Five out of five Stars

Happy Reading.
