I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of The Candidate through the publisher and Netgalley.

Erica Sparks is covering the Presidential Campaign.

Erica’s big story comes just as she was warned by her boss that ratings have been dropping.

A bombing leaves 42 injured, eight critically and Erica was nearly one of those.

A week later they have learned little about the bomber, the bomb was homemade, primitive but on her way home she sees the breaking news the bomber has been identified and instead of going back home to her daughter she finds herself heading back to the office.

Erica worries about her daughter Jenny watching true crime shows while her daughter worries about her getting blown up by a bomb.

Murders, bombings, can Erica keep her family and friends safe or will those around her keep getting, hurt or killed?

Will her pursuit of a news story cost Erica everything?

Find out in The Candidate.

Five out of five stars
