I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of Piecing Me Together through the publisher and Netgalley:

Jade lives in a poor neighborhood but received a full scholarship to a private highschool across town away from everything she knows. Her mom had worked as a housekeeper at Emanuel hospital but was fired when some reported her for stealing supplies like juice boxes and Saltine Crackers now she cares for a friend’s Mother who is unable to care for herself.

Despite living in an impoverished neighborhood Jade can see beauty in her neighborhood.

Can Jade continue to embrace where she comes from and move forward?

I give Piecing Me Together five out of five stars.

Happy Reading.
