I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of My Lonely Room through the publisher and Netgalley:

Jimmy is growing up in the fifties, a boy who is not popular amongst his peers and doesn’t have much of a relationship with his parents.  He would rather spend his time in his room working on his comics or writings.

Jimmy can’t understand why his parents let the landlord pick on them.

Jimmy meets a girl named Sandra who he falls for, but when her parents find out about them they threaten him.

Finally he meets Johnny, who gets him out of his room, and into the world.

I give My Lonely Room five out of five stars.

Happy Reading.
