I am reviewing a copy of Silver People through HMH Books and Netgalley:

On August.15.1914 the Panama Canal Opened, the Canal connected the world’s two largest oceans and was the start of America becoming a superpower. But while many celebrated thousands lost their lives and the survivors worked under the most dangerous conditions and their pay was only a few silver coins a day.

This is the story of the ”Silver People” whose back breaking work built the Canal.

I give The Silver People five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!
