I am reviewing a copy of The Liberty Bride through Barbour Books and Netgalley:

In 1812 A trip home from England to Maryland finds Emeline Baratt a captive on a warship and she was forced to declare her allegiance between the British and the Americans.

She finds that remaining politically neutral on a ship that is in desperate need of her nursing skills is pretty easy. That is until she starts to develop feelings for the first lieutenant who becomes her protector. When the captain sends Lieutenant Owen Masters on land to spy, Emeline finds herself struggling to choose between love and country.

I give The Liberty Bride five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!
