He painted a sky for me Amazing hues Colors of beauty. He gave me candy For the soul Sweet and pleasing But it never will hurt me All day I can look at This beauty. He gave me stars in the night sky And a full moon On a dark night To help lead me home. He painted a sky For me And a body of water Sparkling under the sun And oh I sing the praises Of this Master Artist My Father In Heaven. Copyright Michelle R Kidwell May.26.07 7:05 P.M PST |

And the Fool Says
Image Copyright Michelle R Kidwell July.23.09 A crystal clear sky With a moutainous view for Miles And the fool says There is no good That it just came from A big explosion Of nothingness. A starry night Like the stars that led The wisemen to Jesus All those centuries Ago And the fool says There is no God. A beautiful piece of land A view for miles A single man on Horseback And the Fool Says there is no God. Copyright Michelle R Kidwell July.23.09 3:47 P.M PST |
And the Fool Says
And the fool says There is no God When they look out Over a magnificent ocean And see his handprints. And the fool says There is no God When they hold tomorrow In there hands. And the fool says There is no God Because the universe Does not center around them. Copyright Michelle R Kidwell Aug.01.09 3:19 A.M PST |
Postcards From Hwy 1
It seemed like forever That we drove yesterday Hours and hours of endless Riding But the ride was beautiful The beaches at Half Moon Bay The bay bridge Where oceans Spread for mikes And it was like Looking at God’s handprint. We made it to her appointment In the nick of time In San Francisco (Before we got lost) And found out that Mom probably wasn’t going to need surgery (Doing a dnace of praise in my chair) But somehow we got off of 15 and 280 Took Hwy 1 To Halfmoon Bay San Francisco After getting lost In Palo Alto (Don’t ask) But we are at Home now Safely after Driving forever Got home after two a.m. Copyright Michelle R Kidwell Aug.01.09 9:37 A.M PST |
