Foreboding Skies

The sky about

To open up

Bringing liquid nourishment

In the form of rain

Some snow

Time to sit back

With a warm blanket

And a good book

Not thinking

Of the Foreboding skies.

For a few moments

The Heavens opened up

Pouring down ice

And strong winds

Unlike we are used

To here in the Golden

But they do happen

About twelve times a year

Small Tornadoes

Frightening enough

To remind you

God’s in Control

Thankfully everyone is okay

The weather has calmed some for now

But Snow do in sometime tonight.

Another Round

Another round

Of storms coming in

Snow storms

In levels lower than normal

Power outages projected

Praying that doesnt happen

Some people in our area

Still without power from the first

Still winter

Here in the Golden state

Already starting to get

Spring Fever.

Omnious Sky

Outside of Our House This Evening May.27.09

The Sky Before Thunderstorms come in

He gave us a sky

Full of gray silver

And gold

To warn us of a storm

To come

Perhaps a way

Of telling us

A mesaage

We are to stubborn to hear

Or perhaps

One we just don’t understand

But a forewarning of the storm to come

And this is California?

See its not always sun and surf.

Before the Sky Opened Up

The Omnious warning of the approaching storms, continue to affect the Central California Area.  Just on the outskirts of Jamestown, Chicken Ranch Road!

Before the sky opened up

Clouds told a story

Written in shades of

Gray and white!

Gentle words at first

Later they would become

The calm before the storm they say.

The beauty before the sky opened up.

Where is God In This

The fury of Nature

Screams out

As destruction

Wreaks havoc

On so many lives

So many innocent lives.

Entire buildings, Collapse

By Tornadoes.

Even in this

We see miracles

Children who should be

Walking out

Hand in hand

With bloodied teachers.

So many dead,
But so many spared.

Sadness across the nation

For those in Moore…

Somehow in all of this

Faith remains

And God is still in there…
