I have always been a reader. But it was my Freshman year of High school that I discovered I could be a writer as well. And by my Senior year I knew my calling…I was to be an author… The Lord had placed that on my heart clearly by then.

My greatest influences are first and foremost my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my many wonderful friends, including Janet Perez Eckles, Melody Mainville, Karen Vidra and Karla Dorman (Coauthors of With A Little Help). Jessica Orr Weissenberger, Jeanette Graves Newby Ruthie Madison author of Marge, whose first book was published this year. Congratulations to you, Trica Goyer, Joni Eacerson Tada, Helen Keller, my Nonna and Mimmi who have gone home to the Lord as well as Marlo. Mary Lilie and many others. I have been richly blessed by the support system I have!

Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness.
