Angels Come Disguised

More and more I am hearing of children and teens suffering from Cancer, now it hits closer to home a young girl whose family I know is suffering from a Cancerous Tumor…

Angels come disguised

In Chemo bald heads

And silent struggles

Tiny bodies

Fighting an incredible fight.

Angels come disguised

In tiny bodies

In huge hospital beds.

Angels come disguised

In the faces of the fight.

As Told By A Six Year Old

Children’s church today, brought the smiles I needed…

Did you know

That the Devil use to be

An angel

But he wanted all the

Power

So Jesus threw him

Into the lake of the fire.

And did you know

That even when Jesus died

He really didn’t die

He lives forever

In our hearts.

Stick Him In A Drawer

He’s been bad

Stick him in a drawer

Little hands on her hips

I want to laugh so hard

But she looks so serious

If he does it again

If he won’t leave me alone

Just stick him in a drawer.

They Are My Little Teachers

They are my little teachers

Telling me how they pray for one another

How they pray to Jesus

That they will get

Through the rough times.

They are my little teachers

Telling me how importamt prayer is

And I smile

Praying they will remember

As they grow older

The childlike faith

That carries them through.

What Lessons Do They Learn

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these.

George Washingtom Carver

What lessons do they learn

In the little moments

Where no words are said

But a gentle gesture of love is shown?

What lessons do they learn

When we speak of Jesus

Not in a distant way

But as an Abba Daddy

For the children

Who are foreign to

Hugs from a Daddy?

What lesson do they learn

When we feed them not

Only in the body

But in the Spirit

With words

Of love and encouagement?

What lessons do

We teach

When we listen to Bible Stories

By Children

Mixed with Superman

And Spiderman stories?

What lessons do we teach

When we show in actions

Of love

And try to live

As Christ lived

But at the same time

Letting them know that

Mistakes are okay

And can be forgiven?

Don’t Be Fooled By That Face

Gracie Lou

Children’s Church

two year old Gracie Lou is a little miss spitfire LOL

Don’t be fooled

By that innocent face

She’ll keep you on your toes

Chasing her with pitchers of juice

And out the door

When she finds an escape.

But hey who can not fall

In love with a face like that

Even when she misbehaves.

Lord let these little

Lights shine

Let the love of Jesus

Flow through

Let them sing the

Praises

Of your love

All the days through.

Lord let them share

The wonders of your

Gloruous love.

Sometimes It’s Just A Matter of Faith

Sometimes it takes faith

Just to get through the day

And when you think

You are reaching these children

You wonder if your prayers are being heard

And you are getting through

But when achild has a break through

When they begin thinking about the Lord above

When Jesus’s love

Echoes from their lips

I realize sometimes its just

A matter of faith.

Can A Mother’s Love Be Captured

Picture Taken By Mikey Age 8

Jan.17.2009 Kids Klub

Can A Mother’s love

Be captured in words

In hugs and in kisses?

Can a Mother’s love

Be written down

And memoralized

Or is it beyond words?

Can a Mother’s love

Survive the hardest of times?

I believe it can.

Their Gifts Far Outweigh What I Can Give

Leliani and Nathan

A little girl named Leliani whose about eight years old has found a special place in my heart, she has become my personal helper and sometimes my shadow, but I love every minute of it…The Children are the reason I do what I do.

Their gifts far outweigh

Anything I can give

And in the moments

When I feel down

Often they have a smile on their face

And in their own sweet way

They ask

Are you okay

And it is in moments like that

I realize that they give me

Far more than I could

Give them.
